Hands down one of my favorite videos ever! A Summer in Thailand is a love letter to my former students from my internship in Thailand. Its a mosaic of all the amazing memories I made with them. I enjoyed playing around with overlays to create heart animations that added to the warm vibe of the video.
Un vídeo para mi papá is a love letter to my late father featuring the instrumentals of ur so pretty by Wasia Project. I wanted to capture what its like to be in a Kopfkino (German word for head cinema); with memories of my father playing over and over in my mind. I cherish them dearly and it brings me solace knowing that he was an incredible and loving father. It was my first time including animations I made through ProCreate and I LOVE how they came out.
A video for my roomies is dedicated to my friends Angela, Ahtziri, and Michelle. They are my former roommates and made my 2nd and 3rd year of uni some of the best years of my life. The amount of love and kindness these girliepops showed up with really touched lo más profundo de mi corazón. I love them to the moon and back :")
My experience of moving away from home for uni made me appreciate it even more. Griffith Observatory (a mini vlog) is a vlog of a solo trip I took to the iconic Griffith Observatory. It features some beautiful photographs I took there! As I hopped from bus to light rail, I was reminded of my upbringing in Los Angeles. The truth is, LA will always hold a special place in my heart. It will always be the place I call home.
When I was in Thailand I had a moment where I felt an overwhelming wave of grief. It was so palpable, I felt like I could touch it. Grief - "the experience of loss" recounts this experience while highlighting that no matter how long its been, there will always be moments where you grieve a loved one. And that's okay ♡
